ANSWERS TO COMMON QUESTIONS

How far is the cottage from town and the state park?
We are just about a 7 min. drive to town and a 7 min. drive to Pokagon State Park.
Can I bring a boat or wave runner?
One side of our dock is available for guest parking of a watercraft. A pontoon, fishing, speedboat or wave runner will fit. This is also the swimming area for guests. We have dock bumpers and the depth at the end of the dock is 5+ feet.
Is there Uber or Public Transportation?
There aren’t regular uber or taxi drivers in our area. Very rarely, they do pop up but if you need a ride during your stay, you can reach out to us ahead of time to plan.
Do I need a fishing license?
INDIANA FISHING LICENSE REQUIREMENTS: FOR RESIDENTS $10 for a one-day license and $23 for annual license. Residents under 18 and those born before April 1, 1943 do not need licenses. FOR NON-RESIDENTS $15 for a one-day license; $35 for seven-day license and $60 for annual license. Licenses are available at Pokagon State Park, Meijer, Walmart and various authorized bait and tackle shops, such as Corner Landing and The Complete Fisherman or online at https://www.in.gov/dnr/fish-and-wildlife/indiana-fish-and-wildlife-online-license-system/

Can we stay longer than 6 nights?
You can always send us a message and in some cases we will make an exception, but we do like to enjoy our cottage when it’s not booked, so we reserve certain days for ourselves!
